A breath of fresh air in the beauty world, Obiqo is a new sea-inspired skincare range created by Kiwi, Phillippa Fletcher. "After spending much of the last 20 years offshore I wanted to develop a product that incorporated some of the unique aspects of New Zealand. Our pristine seas are something we all grow up with, and so I was attracted to using our fabulous, nutrient rich kelp in a skincare range for an international market. At the same time I wanted to draw on some of the wonderful European expertise in skincare."

Spending time looking at the remote and beautiful beaches where the kelp is found made me realise how fortunate we are to be surrounded by the pure southern oceans. An extract made especially for us from this kelp rich in marine nutrients is brought to you in all our Obiqo products”

Phillippa worked closely with a team experienced both in formulating and manufacturing high quality skin care, and in design, to realise the vision of premium skincare using natural marine extracts presented in luxurious, internationally exciting packaging. Marine extracts have been used in skincare since ancient times and today these traditions have been revitalised and renewed for contemporary use, using the latest in peptide technology.
